Absolam Joe - A Word About the Election

Why Wait Till Now? - The US election was and still is being contested for fraud in a number of areas (see https://navarroreport.com/ for a good summary on the election fraud issue written by Harvard PhD, Dr Peter Navarro). I felt constrained to not write this until after the formal installation of Biden as President was completed as, legitimate or illegitimate, the battle for the inauguration was over. During this process I felt strongly that we needed to be found on the side of the "good spies" - to keep faith with what we believed God wanted to have happen. I did not give a word that President Trump would win the election, but I agree that this was the outcome we were contending for - to extend the shield protecting us and advancing many issues that we care about. I believe it was the outcome that God wanted to put in place for our protection and his purposes.

The Children of Israel were freed from captivity in Egypt and sent spies into the Promised Land. The two "good spies" focussed on God's promises and reported through that lens but the ten bad spies saw and reported on only the natural challenges. The takeaway from this is that the "good spies" had to spend 40 years in the wilderness "suffering" with the rest - they only got to go into their promised land blessing later. In the same way, we will all be living through this next four year season of Absolam Joe. The take-away lesson is that 2/12ths enthusiastic support for God's desired outcome from the Church may not be enough to bring about what God was planning. Or put simply, the Church did not focus on what God was saying and missed their opportunity. The easier road is missed and a harder road is in front of us but take heart, God is the God of turnaround, forgiveness and blessing.

The US Front - One reason for the church missing their opportunity is that many said this was "just the US so who cares" or that Trump is "unpleasant" or one I hear a lot- "unwise". Prophetically and in reality what has been happening in the US and particularly surrounding US election is a focal point having global impact - a battle front for the conflict between globalism's Great Reset and the Kingdom's Great Awakening. It has highlighted the creeping totalitarianism of the Tech Oligarchs and their ability to influence elections and speech. Indeed the partisan actions of Twitter, Facebook, Amazon and others have sparked concern all over the world about the nefarious influence of these parties and their cancel culture.

President Trump was used and anointed by God as a "disrupter" and a "shield" - a "lightning rod" that caused ungodly actors to rise up enraged and be revealed. A voice for religious freedom, protecting the unborn and championing Israel. The US election was not just for the US, it was a focal point or fulcrum in this global battle. I saw a picture of tectonic plates turning around pivot points. We are in a global battle between forces of light and the forces of darkness: the Great Awakening versus the Great Reset. We know more about the plans of the Great Reset and the perfidy of our leaders than ever before. I firmly believe that God set President Trump in place to be an anointed instrument of disruption - a wrecking ball to disrupt the corruption in the establishment in the US and globally that is linked to the globalist "Great Reset" agenda. He is a "Cyrus" type figure as seen in Isaiah 45, meaning a political leader, not necessarily godly, that will promote God's agenda. As a result, the US election was a pivotal global battle between the forces of good and evil. Archbishop Vigano writing to President Trump said: In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. ...And it appears that the children of darkness -- whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days -- have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans. They seem to be so certain of already having every-thing under control that they have laid aside that circumspection that until now had at least partially concealed their true intentions. Exposure and Revelation - As we have seen this last season was a season of exposure of the plans of the enemy and of those in the Church who were not aligned with God's plan for this time. Steve Cortes, Sr Advisor, Trump Campaign described him as being "The Great Revealer" as the frenzied hyperbolic attacks of his opposition resulted in them dropping all pretences revealing their true nature - the masks came off. Abortion went from being described by Hilary Clinton as something that should be infrequent to being championed even during birth. Reasonable immigration curbs became "open borders". This has been described as a lurch to the left by some but the reality is that is a movement to impose globalist solutions anchored in humanism. Just look at the actions taken by this new regime since January 20.

As the 2021 Davos Agenda highlighted: 2021 will be a critical year to reestablish trust in our ability to shape our common future. Reestablish - note the reference to overcoming the obstacles to global power which were embodied by President Trump. You are not sure? Here is the quote from George Soros delivered at the World Economic Forum 25 January 2018, Clearly, I consider the Trump administration a danger to the world. But I regard it as a purely temporary phenomenon that will disappear in 2020, or even sooner. ...we are spending more than half our budget closer to home because what is happening here is having a negative impact on the whole world.

The Snoozing Church - comfortable in its safe spaces - At the same time, there has been revelation and exposure in the Church. By and large the Church did not get behind God's agenda and did not listen to the prophets. The church did not seek His will, rather it sought safety and "peace" at a time when it needed to stand up and be counted. Many in the church did not join with God's agenda and the primary mission of Jesus to destroy the works of satan (I Jn 3:8).

C'Mon Man - Let's have Peace - I had a number of challenges from well meaning Christians to observe "peace", to not stir things up and to not be "political". By backing away from anything "divisive" or "political" the church was seeking a religious "safe space" so that it did not have to deal with upsetting or "triggering" events. Not siding with God's agenda means siding with the enemy's agenda. Was it political to discern that God wanted Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem? Was it political to agree that Moses was being led by God or was it political to agree that the Nazi agenda ran counter to the plans of God? The Chamberlain Church with its ecumenical "Kumbaya" vision of a peace that offends no one and makes no challenge was exposed. Weak, feckless and impotent - in the same vein it allowed itself to be closed and muzzled like a bingo hall. The Church did not remember that John called out Herod for political and personal immorality, that Elijah dealt with Ahab, Jezebel and the prophets of baal and that Jesus had spicy words for the Pharisees. As perfect love embodied, Jesus whipped the money changers in the Temple. Indeed, one of the dominant reactions to Jesus in the Bible was a desire to kill him.

At a minimum there should have been an inquiry in prayer and fasting as to what God's agenda was. If we accept the politics is downstream from culture then anti-biblical and anti-Christian political positions represent a failure of the Church to achieve meaningful impact.

The mirror of 2 Ch 7:14 was the result: If My people who are called by My name will NOT humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and WILL NOT turn from their wicked ways AND JOIN WITH MY AGENDA, then I will hear from heaven, and will NOT forgive their sin and WILL NOT heal their land. There was a test for the church just like there was a test for the spies entering the Promised Land. While the 10 spies were exposed the two "good spies" were revealed.

Sorry Joe - Some prophets and leaders are apologising for believing or stating that God wanted this reelection of Trump- essentially abandoning the battle. I liken this to Joshua saying this to the King of Ai - "Hey, I am sorry I got it wrong, we were so sure that God wanted us to inherit the promised land even the prophets said so but we were wrong and I am sorry. I will support your kingship and pray for you." Is that what happened when Joshua lost the battle of Ai? No, he cried out in prayer and fasting, seeking God's face until an angel of the Lord revealed why they had lost - they had to deal with sin in the camp then go back and win (Joshua 7/8). Losing a battle does not invalidate what God's will and plan is. Now, without President Trump as a shield to protect the Church from certain attacks, we must still seek His face, turn from our wicked ways so that we can overturn the agenda and plans of the enemy. Of course, we should be humble and discuss where we got things wrong but we cannot come into agreement with the plans of the enemy or support the thief over the victim. You do not congratulate the car thief that steals your car. Absolam Joe - Sitting in the chair of the "King" or President is not the same as being anointed as "King" or president. Of course, no one denies that there was an inauguration and that Joe Biden has been made President of the US or that we must forgive and pray for our leaders but this does not mean glossing over their actions. Did John the Baptist gloss over the actions of Herod? Was Absolam the anointed King of Israel (2Sam 13-19). In this story David was forced from Jerusalem with ridicule and enemies throwing stones but he was still God's choice for King and as a result Absolam's rule was characterised by bad advice and confusion leading to his eventual almost blackly comedic demise.

As a result there are two takeaways:

1. Trump will still have the wrecking ball anointing with what he does in this season.

2. Absolam Joe's regime will be characterised by confusion, infighting, overreach and failure. Without the anointing there is confusion in their camp which will grow and overtake their agenda.

Overcoming Ekklesia - It has also been a time of revelation of those in the Church that were aligned with God's agenda. Perhaps more important than the ten evil spies, was the revelation of the two godly spies. I believe in this season there has been a revelation of those in the church who are contending for God's agenda, seeking His face and changing culture. Genuine Elijah's operating in power and legislating God's purposes in the land. As the mainstream church enters this season of confusion and even collaboration look for a genuine power revival from the remnant that are contending for God's truth and His agenda.

MAGA, Socialism, Corporatism, Capitalism....

Recognising Israel, championing the persecuted church, standing for religious liberty, protecting life and standing against the overarching agendas of the liberal elites. I think it was clear that believers were praying for a continuation of this block but we should not equate this with subservience to a non-Kingdom agenda. MAGA does not equal Kingdom. All we are saying is that there was an alignment. Make America Great Again sounds like a good agenda but as Kingdom believers we know that what was great about America was the godly thread, the adherence to Judaeo-Christian ethics and the godly foundations and inheritance. The ungodly foundations linked to the masonic rituals, slavery and its legacy, and pride are not part of the Kingdom. We must have great compassion for promoting Kingdom and not assuming any "ism" equates to this. At best, we must support the framework that is more "sheep" than "goat" - one that best allows religious freedoms to flourish and that allows for an Ekklesia to rise up freely.
