It is fundamentally about being in Him - Jesus - unity is following as directed. Like a guide through a minefield, He knows the way and we must follow. Doing your own thing is rebellion and calling out someone off the path is not disunity, it is our obligation. We must raise a righteous standard despite any consensus views. After all, we do not want our brothers and sisters to step on a landmine.
